You lived a good and long life which ended at a difficult time. No one could come to see you nor come to your funeral, but I’m grateful that you were with your wife at the end and could see your family on video calls. He showed love to his grandchildren and to his great-grandchildren until the end.

Margaret and Mick Gillard, Wonderful parents, terrific friends and heroes to us all, especially as they volunteered to use their disabilities to help find solutions to prevent neurological tumours and the lung condition of bronchiectasis adversely affecting the lives others, conditions which they endured throughout their lives. Where Mick was the first “guinea pig” for pioneering neurological surgery and Margaret was a “guinea pig” for a medicine to treat bronchiectasis, all of which efforts of both of them saves lives now. They are gone but never to be forgotten and will always be much loved.
